History & Vision

QFF - How it Started

The need for 'hands-on' advice led me to the creation of Quest for Financials BV in 2007. From my experience at the big 4 firms and smaller accounting firms, I saw how many advices did not reach the shop floor. To bring my advices to result I decided to start an independent office and accept CFO positions. Today I work with a limited but loyal clientele on a daily basis. Each client is specific and knows that I am accessible for each question that arises.

Mission and Vision

For most SMEs and self-employed individuals, analysis and advice are not enough. They wish to be supported in their daily activities, with the accountant fulfilling the role of financial contact point. Our mission and vision is to guide companies in the administrative, accounting and tax process and to make these processes run as efficiently (cost-saving) as possible. Independence

My experience in larger accounting firms and SMEs has taught me that knowledge and expertise are not location-bound. It is important to gather the right competencies for good results. On the other hand, too many links can cause noise and high costs. Therefore, Quest for Financials remains an independent office led by a single director. We have no fixed commitments to other offices or (international) groups. No expensive offices, administration, company cars, advertising, overhead or venture capitalists as shareholders ... What we preach is what we do.

Digitization

Digitization is a blessing for some and a curse for others. We embrace digitization because we believe it helps to improve and simplify business processes. However, we are also aware that this is a hurdle for some customers that needs to be treated with the necessary attention. We spend the necessary time to guide you through the systems we use. We believe that your training contributes to the future efficiency of your processes.
